Yosemite sluggish after connecting to external monitor

i have macbook pro retina 2014 2.8GHz 16GBRAM 1TB HDD with Yosemite. When I plug the external monitor, it very sluggish. The cursor movement, scrolling, notification center animation all very slow.

Do you have guys have the same issue??
