Yosemite SMB performance same as 10.9.5

I upgraded to 10.9.5 on my laptop and the SMB performance is way better then the all of mavericks when connecting to my NAS. Has Yosemite(as of now) also seen these improvements? I won't be upgrading until this has been verified as I transfer large amounts of data to and from.

Have you done testing with SMB on Yosemite? I too am interested to know if this is working in 10.10

SMB performance in Yosemite is worse than Mavericks.
