I recently acquired Apple's TrackPad II (which is great btw).

My rMBP is running Sierra and the TP works just fine. I also have a small partition on the drive with Yosemite installed for a legacy program that I need. While in Yosemite, the TP II is not recognized as a TP, but rather, a mouse with no right click ability ..it is really annoying & I horribly feel the absence of BTT functions...can't even touch click!

Is there a known bug in Yosemite that I'm not aware of? A fix?

Have tried to s/u through the normal methods (i.e.:; set up bluetooth tp, etc) also turned off BT PAN as I read in a few threads that people were having some trouble with a TP & Yosemite.

I think where it comes to the Trackpad ll and Yosemite you're out of luck,
according to Apples own web site...

System Requirements
Bluetooth 4.0-enabled Mac computer with OS X v10.11 or later

Well don't I sound dumb!!

Thank you for pointing out what should have been easy information for me to find myself jbarley

..guess I'm going to try to find a copy of El Capitan for my legacy program (never downloaded it so I am unable to make an install disk, locally)
