Yosemite upgrade. Add recovery partition?

Hello!
I installed Mavericks clean from a bootable USB a while back. Can't remember the details but basically I ended up with no recovery partition from the install.

Simply, my question is, if I upgrade to Yosemite through the app store, will it automatically create a new recovery partition? Or can I only create one through through a new (and properly done...!) clean install?
