I have MBP running Maverick right now. My question is should I stay with Maverick or should I upgrade to Yosemite?, for you guys that already upgraded to Yosemite, is there any improvement on performance? is there any apps that is not supported by Yosemite? I need to know the advantage of the new yosemite.
Like the iPad air, after upgrading to IOS 8,now IPhoto is not working anymore.

I need your input and suggestion from you guys what you think.
Thank you and I really appreciate it.

There's a minor improvement in performance. The added features to Notifications and such are well worth the move to Yosemite.

I'm running it on 2,4GHz i5, 8GB RAM + 256GB SSD. Everything's very smooth.

There are some graphical glitches in TM and text is stretching out of some UI elements in Polish, but these are minor glitches that don't prevent you from using Mac.

I wouldn't hesitate if I was you.

I'm running yosemite on a 2008 mbp and it runs very fast. So I def think it it worthwhile upgrading.

My MBP is 2011, started with snow leopard than mountain lion, and now Maverick. Are all your apps still working? Like pages, number, keynote and IPhoto ?
What is all the problem with the Wifi? Did you experience with this issue?
Thanks.

I was very happy with the upgrade to Yosemite, especially the massively improved Safari, until I ran into the WiFi issues: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1802327/

Thanks for the input, did you figure out what caused it and did you solved the problem yet?
Thanks.
