Many people do not know this but you can run Windows apps on MacOS(or Linux!) using a freeware app called WINE near native! It really does work, and many people do not know about it learning towards buying a Parallels license + Windows license to put all that bloat over MacOS.

Whats the catch? Not all apps work, and some work to a certain degree. You can lookup their database to see the specific app you want if it works. They have have 5 ratings going from "Platnium -> Gold - > Silver" which is varying degrees of successfuly running then (Bronze) for running in a broken and unpleasant state and finally "Garbage" which describes itself. YMMV seriously.

I personally recommend you buy a license of CrossOver which is basically WINE wrapped in a user friendly package with professional support for just $30. Buying a license will send some money donated towards the WINE project to further develop and improve it. I believe the free WINE app on Catalina and Big Sur won't run 32bit Windows apps but Crossover will.

Many people do not know about WINE and is in a bit of obscure state but in reality it has been in development since 1993 and the results are amazing. Don't overlook it as an option if you need to run a Windows only app. I thought I share my findings with the community and help spread the word
