YOu know when you do somat and you shouldnt of done

I think you should keep the order. PowerBooks, because they run OS X, have built-in spellchecking.

Seriously, man, what do you mean? If you're thinking you should not have ordered it, cancel the order and re-order when you're sure.

Bah, just sleep it off and you'll be fine.

Although, I still feel I shouldn't have blown $379 bucks on a new ipod....especially when the video ones came out 2 weeks later.

How many times do I have to say that the internet needs a babble fish that translates between English and Blimey. :eek: ;) :D

I think you're going to enjoy it. Just let your fingers run over the smooth aluminum, feel the heat through the bottom casing on your skin, become one with the gentle illumination of the Apple logo behind the screen. :)
 
I know im going to enjoy it, but the thing is, it was to be financed with the sale of my XP laptop, which is till unsold. Hence no meny to buy the powerbook,, im like so excited, and , at 28 years old, i still think my mother would kill me, lol.
but at last, i can show them disbelievers at work that OS X and apple is the way to go,,, GOD I CANT WAIT, any one from stoke? can i come and just look at your power book? PLEASE

Thats why I don't order stuff on weekends... it gets you excited.
 
We all feel like that with a new computer. You want it now because of how cool it is. I've been looking at Macintosh's since the Summer after my Sophmore year in high school. I bought a PB G3 Wallstreet 233MHz that summer, sold it in October and bought an iMac G3 333MHz, the summer after my Junior year I purchased a G3 iBook 500MHz, next this year, 9 days ago my dad bought me this iBook in my siggy.
 
Buying technology is jumping off a cliff. The fact is, it will be obsolete before it dies, it will be more capable in a couple of months and cheaper too! There is no getting around it, drink the cool-aid and bask in your new material aquisition!:)

The worst purchase for me is buying realestate. You drop a low offer, thinking if you could get the property for that price you can make things work, but since you want to believe it is worth more than that, you think if you can just get it at the cheap price, then when the cheap offer is accepted you think, what is it about that property that they know that I don't? Did I just get screwed?

I'm from Stoke, but unfortunately don't have my 12"powerbook anymore:(
had to sell it to raise some cash. Think I will get a new one next year tho:)

My girlfriend's from Stoke - I'm visiting her this w/e and will have my somewhat less impressive 1.25Ghz 15" Powerbook with me...:D

YOU TAKE THAT BACK! Its a very impressive PB. Google Powerbook, then you can see images not taken by Apple. Google it then click on the images link at the top. If anything have people who have powerbooks on this forum post here. Powerbooks are awesome, but I love the snow white iBooks better. I'm more partial to them. The PB look frikken awesome though.
