You think Apple would buy Twitter?

Google has there own thing with Google+, Microsoft has invested lot of it's money and technology into Facebook integration, Apple has invested quite a bit of it's technology into twitter integration and not to mention lot of Apple's staff is on Twitter compared to Facebook.

Something that could be interesting is the possibility of having a Twitter stream when you go to iCloud.

Strategically buying social media just for the eyeballs is risky, i think it would be considered but how would they earn a return on the investment?
