On the contrary. Twitter, PCalc, and all of the Microsoft apps (Outlook, OneNote, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) were all updated for multi-tasking on day one. The side panel is already getting crowded.I think only Apple apps use splitview though, not like others are embracing it excitingly.
But then no we can't. The YouTube website won't allow us to go full screen into apples video controller which supports PiP. However, we can with YouTube videos embedded in websites. And it's not very easy getting into their website in the first place. They want you to use the app, and be miserable.Doesn't PIP make more sense than split view, given the 16:9 ratio of most video content?
I guess in theory, you could run youtube in a browser and split-screen it.
