I've always wondered how B&O stays in business. I figure people just buy it as if it were just an art piece and not really use it. The price to performance value of a lot of their products is just silly. Most of it looks great tho :p

I have a Beosound 1 and love it

B&O IS expensive but I used to have a $25k home stereo (2 channel) and when I moved I had to sell it as my new home was smaller. I bought the B&O Beosound 1 and its great! Got it for $1100 over Xmas (normally $1325) and while very pricey for a portable type CD/STEREO, my Ipod plugs in, it plays all of my CD's (I have 1500 of them) and has a great radio, plus looks so much better than ANY portable I have ever seen. Doesnt even come close to my old system, but at 1/25th the price its great. It replaced the APple HiFi and Blose Sounddock I tried.

So while B&O is expensive, there are much more expensive products out there for audio and video. Their phone however is a rip. I have held it and talked on one and its solid and stylish but not worth the money. The Iphone is a better device. Heck, the Iphone is the best phone ever created IMO!
