You Tube won't connect

It was working fine until one week ago (Nov 18) but then for no reason I can determine You Tube simply won't connect. I have used it without problem on E, 3G and WiFi but now it will not connect on any of them.

This is an I Phone 3G and I have recently installed firmware 2.2 The problem appeared before installing 2.2 and that upgrade did not change anything as far as I can tell.

Has anyone had a similar experience with You Tube on I Phone 3G?

You Tube problems

I don't understand the comment about an echo on the line.

The You Tube utility (application) originally installed on my I Phone 3G simply stopped connecting so I cannot see or retrieve videos. Those previously downloaded and bookmarked are still accessible and work normally.

Everything else, all aps, mail, phone, etc., still work fine.

Has anyone else had this kind of problem?

I enjoy You Tube on the I Phone and would very much like to restore it.
