The YWDA is a currently small, non-profit organisation helping young people (from any age up to 21) receive support, advice and guidance on their work, clients and projects. The project is open for all young people in the world, no matter the language you speak - we'll support it.

Hi, this is a new small project of mine. I've decided to create it because whilst at work the other day, the intern, a 16 year old, got really put down for his work, yet his mentor wasn't offering him any guidance and was left to defend a battle he'd never trained for. I'm looking for one or two more enthausiastic members, specifically young person(s) to help with setting up, maintaining the site and giving me the low-down on what's hot and not :)p). As we're non-profit I cannot fund you although high recognition throughout the site and elsewhere will be awarded amongst other things.

Please PM me if you're interested.

Note to moderators: Haven't included the link so not to break the rules. If you feel it's innapropriate to the section, please feel free to remove elsewhere or delete. Thankyou.

I'm really glad you're interested in supporting young developers. I hate it when our pride motivates us to tear down someone who is learning, and not offer any advice or constructive criticism. Unfortunately, I don't have any time to volunteer to this project, but I hope you do find support.

i'll quote happily help out any way I can I run my own design company and can offer hosting for free for this project. just PM or email me if your interested

Hosting etc, is already covered by myself. However please PM me if you're interested in helping maintaining the site, specifically the message board.

PMs have also been sent to users who Pm'ed me (i'm about half way through the list..).

Thanks all.

Just a small update so I don't have to PM everyone (and my inbox is full) YWDA.org is online, a bit rough around the edges but this has been done in one night (I work in the day, like everyone else!!). Thanks.

www.agnesavenueartists.com

might give you an idea

Small update for those who might be interested :)
The site is pretty much up and running, it's still in testing-stages but nether-the-less it's up and usable. Once you've applied for registration your name will appear in a public database - this is where I'm having problems, even though it conforms to the (UK) DPA I can't consider if this is acceptable or not, especially for minors. First name/s and Country shouldn't be too bad though..

I am not sure how many people you have had respond but i would like to help/assist in anything. at the moment i will be going to uni (either loughborough or southampton in the UK) to study computer science and also run my own hosting and web design business.

i see that you are from the UK so dont mind assisting in any english and spanish boards since i can fluently speak spanish
