Was wondering who everybody's favorite Apple employee is. Can be someone who doesn't work there, but not the CEOs (almost everyone would pick Jobs then)

My favorite has to be Bob Mansfield. He was apparently a really nice guy, and knew how to manage the Mac line. Also loved his bits in the old Apple introduction videos. Maybe I should make him my picture like MacFather, lol

I'll vote for your best friend too
Aww. Thanks buddy. I'm sure he'll appreciate it.

But if we're talking about *corporate* employees, I'm going with Craig. Hands down I'd love to see him take over someday. I used to think Phil was next in line, but we've not really seen or heard from him lately. And for the love of god, please don't anyone say Eddy.

I'd have to vote for a buddy of mine who works for Apple too. They're at the spaceship campus so I guess that counts as a corporate employee:rolleyes:.

Phil Schiller is always fun to watch. I liked his dynamic with Jobs back in the day.

Technically, Woz is still an employee, and you can't not love Woz. He's been living the tinkerer-geek dream since 197whatever.

If we're counting former employees, the entire original Mac team, as described on Folklore.org

Being a Windows user most of my life (and only recently Apple as of 2012, really getting into Apple in 2015) --- I've only read iWoz by Steve Wozniak, Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson and recently Jony Ive by Leander Kahney.

These are really the only employees that I know. I guess all 3 are kinda CEO territory. But if I had to like one of the three, Wozniak would definitely be my favorite.

Next on reading list is Tim Cook by Kahney.

My vote is for my neighbor who does something at Apple concerning designs for lithium ion batteries.

He also plays the guitar and sings, enjoys fine wine, and good marijuana. We don't talk about batteries - just wine and weed and music.

Sean. Great guy at my local Apple Store. Helped me multiple times with various hardware issues over the last couple years. Always cheerful, and has candidly gone well above and beyond my expectations.

There's a guy at my local Apple Store called Scott W. Knows a lot about iMac's in particular, more so than their usual geniuses. Would probably have to be him!
