I've read tons of threads about everyone's favorite apps, but 75% of them are all in the Top 50-100 and are not the popular children in school

Well, what about apps you bought that don't get the spotlight as much as they should? Here are mine:

Sentinel: Mars Defense (tower defense)
Airport Mania (airplane game)
Spin Art
Flickit (flickr uploader)
Fit Builder (huge personal training/exercise app)
Convertbot (unit converter)

Some are not that unknown, but I'd love to hear most unknowns from all of you. I've heard the usually 100 recommended apps for months now.

Two of my favorites that don't get press or talked about much are,

News Fuse
Weather Machine

I can't say enough how much I like using them. Weather Machine is a true iPhone like App that is of course Weather. News Fuse gives me MY screen with no Ads and offers 18 different sources. It works great.

A great app for accurate and precise weather info is AeroWeather. It's free and takes the weather info from airports (just select nearest to you) and provides the same weather info given to pilots.etc. the complex info can be decoded by the app and provides much more in depth weather forecasts than other apps.

Another for Galcon (awesome online games, and offline keeps my son entertained).

Instapaper Pro - save articles for offline reading

B World - BBC downloaded to HD for later reading (no waiting for webpages to load or sucking up battery life quickly. I download while taking a shower in the morning.

For me, ShoveBox is an invaluable tool, which I don't see mentioned much. It syncs with the desktop app for Mac to keep all my clutter organised.

On the Mac, I use it to quickly file bookmarks, web archives, notes, photos/images, documents; all using custom keyboard shortcuts and a bookmarklet.

On the iPhone I use it to quickly file bookmarks, photos and notes. And with it synced to my Mac, I can read and organise all my clutter on-the-go.

It's a great little tool, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple way to organise all their junk. I didn't even realise I was looking for something like this until I saw a review on smokingapples.com and decided to try it out.

Here's the main website for more info.
