i am thinking about getting an iPhone and I was just wondering how much is the iPhone bill monthly in reality.

i want the 59.99 a month...so in reality how much a month will be spending. i heard the first bill was ridiculous?

I'm on the $60/month plan. My first bill was $120 or so, subsequent bills have been about $66 with tax.

I have the $59.99 plan and after taxes, my bill comes out to about 71.61 a month. First bill was $136.12 because of the partial month in which I started my service, then the next month's full service charge, and the $36.00 activation fee.

was your first bill $120 dollars? and if so what was the extra $60?

My first bill was the following:

$12.90 Pro-rated monthly service fee for my first month
$39.99 Next month of service
$6.45 Pro-rated data fee charge for first month
$20.00 Next month data fee
$36.00 Activation Fee
$20.00 Misc taxes, 911 fee, regulartory charge ect.
=136.12

Ongoing bill
$39.99 Month service fee
$20.00 Data plan
$11.50 Taxes, 911 fee, ect.
=71.61

My first bill was about $165, that was for the first and second month.

My new bill is now $65 which is what it will be monthly.
