After buying the 10.5" iPad Air and seeing the well known white spot on the screen above the home button i decided to exchange it for the new 10.9" Air. Unfortunately i notice quite a bit of light bleed. Was wondering if anyone else has light bleed on their new Air 10.9" ?

The photo makes it look a bit worse than it really is but it's most annoying along the upper right edge.

The one I received had light bleed in the exact same spot. Assuming that the right side in the picture is where the charging port is.

Exchanging unit at this time seems pointless. I don’t think you will get one without light bleed due to the current manufacturing.

Definitely not true. The second gen iPad pro 12.9 was a disaster. Almost all the ones I saw had light bleeding issues, nothing to do with pro or not. My iPad pro 10.5 had the white spot too. Its a lottery now to get a good screen.

All good here. End of November build, backlight is uniformed at 100% brightness, tested with lightbleedtest.com.
