Was trying to figure out a way to put my own pictures in the saved photos or wallpaper in settings on the iphone with ssh.
I connect wiht iphone tunnel usb because it transfers alot quicker and was just easier to figure out than a wifi that was always waiting for a welcome message, just dont like me. (Dam you wifi ssh!)

Anywho... I found the saved folder files at

/private/var/moblie/Media/DCIM/.MISC

when a screen shot is taken or you save a drawing from scribble, its in here and save as a .jpg file

i figured just drag and drop a .jpg photo an bam it will be there when i go to wallpaper on my iphone.
But no i was shown wrong, looked into it a little bit and just cant see why it wont not work and wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to get this popping.

I also found the where the wallpapers are saved.

/private/var/stash/Wallpaper.m7i7lz

they are saved as .png files, but aren't readable by windows paint or photoshop elements.

So when i tried putting a .png file in there of course it didnt show up.

So if anyone has any ideas on getting this to maybe work would be awesome.

If you mean the Lock Screen walpaper..why don't you just sync your pictures to your iPhone and then choose your walpaper. and if you mean your actual background(after you unlock) then you have to make a theme, and ONLY put a background image there.

yeah sometimes i dont think, should just sync up my pictures the itouch.

And i have only download themes so far.

You can acctully make your own theme, how do you go about that.

SSH'ing pretty much make a folder called whatever you want the name of the theme to be, then inside it, have a folder for the icons and all the icons will be there..the icons that you don't name correctly, or don't have will be the regular icon sets(default theme). and have a wallpaper. I don't exactly know.but see the Post your 2.0 springboard thread..that'll a LOT
