Couldn't find any "essential" lists on here through MRoogle outside of iPhone Hacks, sooo..

Name your essential app for each category:

1. Free Game app
2. Paid Game app
3. Free/Paid Navigation
4. Free/Paid Event/Schedule app
5. Free/Paid Music/Video (listening to) app
6. Free/Paid Social app (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
7. Free/Paid Sports app
8. Free/Paid Shopping app
9. Free/Paid Management-type app (money management, file management, etc.)
10. Free/Paid News app

BONUS: Name any three other apps or additional apps that may not top one of the categories, but you use or rely on just as much.

My list:
1. Paper Toss
2. Real Racing
3. Maps (I haven't really looked for any other)
4. iCal
5. Last.FM
6. Tumblr
7. Sportacular
8. shopkick
9. Mint
10. Mashable!

BONUS: MobileRSS for my Google Reader, Netflix despite how flaky it can be at times, and WolframAlpha. I don't use Wolfram that often, but I rely on it a lot when I want some specific info about something that a Google/Wiki search would take too long for.

Anyone else?

Ah, I've never heard of Cube Runner, but it definitely looks like a game I'm gonna play now. I used to play some game called Steve Young or something in elem. school similar to this. You were just a football player running "trying to avoid being sacked".

And have you used Evernote? If you have, how is it compared to SimpleTask?
