Feel free to detail any "other" feature you love, &/or go into detail of the 5 you chose + special mentions. :D

For my weekly usage needs, I chose Range, as I can use the Airpods in any corner of the gym complexes I find myself in for at least 3 sessions a week. It'd be a pain (& distraction) to carry my phone with me during a workout, so being able to leave it in an open locker's very handy.

Battery Life/Charging Case, as the very long calls I make aren't constantly bothered by failing batteries. & if they do drain, a quick rotation in the nifty charging case has both at full strength within 30 minutes. & I can listen to my treasured music for much longer than I need to.

Background Noise Reduction (during calls), as the above mentioned calls aren't disrupted by the many noises going on behind me (mainly at work).

Portability. This applies to both the Airpods & the Charging Case, as they can fit in the smallest of pockets & add zero weight to your apparel.

Sound Quality. They're very good imo, for both music & calls, which is what they were made for.

Special mention to......every other feature listed, as they all combine to make these gadgets a marvellously seamless integration into my weekly life.

1.) Quality- For being plastic, these are fairly well-made. The battery case is well constructed and even the AirPods don't feel cheap holding them. The battery case and AirPods also have a nice weight to them, making them feel substantial.

2.) Sound- The previous OS update actually seem to help increase the treble and overall loudness of the AirPods. Which seemingly are much better for a noisier environment.

3.)Portability- The fact that the AirPods can be stored in the battery case to charge a while you carry them, it's completely convenient. They Are small enough to fit right in the palm of my hand.

4.) Features- I really like how if you remove one AirPod when you're using them, it stops the music and then you can put the AirPod back in and the music resumes. Also, the double tapping feature works really well for me. And with iOS 11, you will be able to change the track by double tapping the left or right AirPod.

5.) Charging- To my surprise, the AirPods charge rather quickly. The fact that you can charge for 15 minutes, gives you three hours of usage. I never have run out of battery life even close to when using them.

Also, I really do enjoy using one AirPod just for phone calls. And both for music.

My top feature? No cord between the two earbuds! Why is that a top feature for me? Well, I have a cat who likes to chew things. He loves shoelaces, rubber bands, those tie string thingies at the waist of your sweatpants, etc. Anyway, he found my pair of BeatsX headphones sitting on my desk one day, and promptly chewed on the cord between the two buds. Ruined the whole thing! I ended up getting another pair of BeatsX phones, but I have been careful to hide them from him. With the AirPods, he has no compulsion to chew on these!

Best part about them for me is simply the convenience/portability. No wires, more comfortable to wear for phone calls than my Bose QC35 (which often get hot). And something I prefer when I just need earphones for something quick.

The double tap feature barely works for me, so I can't say that is any good. And I don't like Siri overall (too many false positives/negatives).

If they bring volume control to the next ones (tap and slide or just tap), and more customizable gestures, increase battery life, I think you have a real winner here.

Does it have any noise cancellation capability? From my understanding, nothing active. Only the minimum you get for occluding your ear with the AirPods themselves, which isn't that great.

The sound was surprisingly good.
