• remote

i want to see

• video recording app
• an app that lets you watch live tv
• a first person shooter
• an aim app with push
• WORMS!!!! (or pocket tanks if not)

yes, a worms game would be awesome... I seriously hope someone makes one

as for my favorite 5, I guess it'd be these, not in any real order:

- Trism
- Twinkle
- WeDict
- AIM
- loopt

(I'm also quite fond of epocrates, aurora feint, remote, labyrinth and ShoZu)

I read somewhere that they were making a Worms for the iPhone. Let me see if I can find the link.

EDIT: Ah ha, found it:

Worms on iPhone

TechRadar can also reveal that leading Britsoft developer, Team 17 Software also plans to bring Worms to the iPhone. Martyn Brown, studio director and the lauded designer behind one of our favourite long-running gaming franchises told us today: “I think [the SDK news] is a fantastic and positive move opening up the iPhone to developers, as it is a potentially tremendous device for casual games.

“We'll certainly be looking at ways we can bring something like our own Worms titles to the device.”

BackUp

Top 5 would be

*Crash Bandicoot
*Remote
*Shazam
*Facebook
*Sudoku Unlimited

I want

More games! Particularly a shooter, really hope ID port some of their old titles

In no particular order

- Twitterfic Pro
- Remote
- NetNewsWire
- Bomberman
- Aurora Feint

I also cant wait for 1Password

1. Facebook, I used to check it fairly regularly. Now I find myself on there all day because I can check it on the phone.

2. Pandora, streaming goodness. If only it could run in the background.

3. AIM, it's ok for now, but when push is enabled on it, golden.

4. IGN Reviews, has proven useful when out at a game store looking at games.

5. Aurora Feint, great depth and really fun. A few small glitches but it's free and the first release.

I've yet to pay for an App, haha.

Okay...

1) BeatMaker
2) Pandora
3) MotionX Poker
4) Stanza
5) Remote

... with an extra nod to TapTheBeat.... an invaluable little BPM-finder app. Helps when working w/ music software. :D

Texas Hold'em, though I'd like to try some of the other ones, The Mutliplayer online Championship version
Backgammon
CubeRunner
Remote

I'd like to see a really good integrated voice dialer. Better yet one that used the BT headset.
Haven't looked into the apps too much yet though.

1. Texas Holdem
2. Pandora
3. Remote
4. WeDict
5. Monkey Ball

and I'd like to see:

1. IRC
2. A good wireless file transfer program
3. Live bus updates (e.g. late, on time, early) for my city
4. Encyclopedia (how much space would Wikipedia take, heh?)
5. MS Word

I only have a few installed so far that I use:

1) Pandora
2) Shazam
3) Splash ID
4) VoiceNotes
5) Super Monkey Ball

** Dont like cluttered phone ;)

Apps that I would like to see:

1) Yahoo Instant Messenger
2) Slingbox
3) Something for documents, similar to MS Office?
4) a File Magnet type of app useable on Windows

Question about AIM

I know you can access AIM Express through a browser on a normal computer, but does that work for the iPod Touch? Could I potentially get instant messaging without buying the update to 2.0?

(no particular order)

- Twinkle
- Pandora
- Cube Runner
- SMB
- Crash

They need to release iChat already! Forget AIM. I know once the background notifications are released things will be fine. Definitely surprised by the quality of the apps in the appstore... very unapple.

My most frequently access apps are (all free):
  1. NetNewsWire: while it is far from perfect (it desperately needs hide all read and landscape mode), as a long-time user of NetNewsWire for Mac OS X, I find it indispensable.
  2. Bloomberg: another flawed app (no portfolio grouping, does not sync against Bloomberg.com), but very powerful and well executed.
  3. Aurora Feint: simply addictive.
  4. Stanza: excellent eBook reader (tons of free books to download from).
  5. Yelp: very useful for nights and weekends.
