YouTube Airplay - Apple TV

Anyone else having problems using Airplay via the iOS YouTube app to the Apple TV?

Running current iOS and TVOS.

Apple TV is connected via Ethernet rather than WiFi but my iOS devices are connected to the same network (though via WiFi, obviously).

I can, however, use airplay without issue using a locally save video or via the YouTube webpage (not the app).

I have this issue all the time. I restart the phone and the Apple TV and it seems to work for a bit.
