YouTube app. Cannot connect?

For some reason my YouTube app isn't working. Is it cuz YouTube is being man handled by all the new ipads? Highly unlikely. What can it be? And push notifications aren't working for me either!!!

YouTube: Try plugging your iPad into iTunes and allow it to sync. If that does not work, restart it.

Push Notifications: You have to enter the app and select "Allow Push Notifications" before Push Notifications begin coming in.

YouTube working wonderful for me. But I'm a little dismayed. Steve said it would be "HD" but you can't select a resolution or anything. I wonder if it auto selects 720p if it's available.
