I have a very annoying problem with you tube videos.
I’ m new in Apple computers. I bought last week my new MBP 13.3 and since then I have huge problems with you tube videos.

The problem is that when I start watching a video in YouTube, everything is ok until the progress bar reach 40 sec. In that point the progress bar stop loading further, the point that shows the progress returns to the beginning, and the video stops playing. Even if I try to right click on the video at that time to enter the flash properties window, the box with the flash settings is unresponding and keeps flashing rapidly…

The same problem happens with Chrome, Firefox and Safari and especially in music videos from Vevo.

The steps I have done till now is:

Update everything
Unsubscribe from YouTube HTML5
Activate and deactivate Hardware Acceleration in Flash properties window
Reinstall Adobe Flash
Run Safari in 32bit mode and 64bit mode
I have cleared all the cookies and data from safari…

Any ideas? I m loosing my mind here….

Thx (sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language).

Have you tried a different browser? Chrome has Flash built in so you might get different results. Even if you don't want to switch to Chrome, the test would give you another data point.

Is it specific to Youtube? Do other flash video sites work OK?

Yes, i have tried in all browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox) and the problem is the same. In Vimeo for example everything runs perfect.
