Okay, hate me if you will, but I have bypassed AT&T's activation to use my iPhone sans phone. Everything works beautifully save YouTube which won't access anything. Since I'm EDGEless (slow anyway from what I've heard), I surf and check e-mail through my home Wi-Fi network. Everything works fine with both of these. I really don't care that much, as YouTube is a blight upon the Internet, but I'd like to incorporate it into my demo of the iPhone when I meet someone in my town who hasn't seen it yet.* :p

Any suggestions on how to get it working? Oh, it wasn't DVD Jon's way. It was the Anderson Technologies Terminal bypass. Thanks.

*I won my iPhone. I've verbally told only 10 people. Everyone in town that I meet, even some older adults, seem to know that I won it. Go figure.

Tallest - I also did a hack just to test my new phone and did the iActivator version. No Youtube. My husband has a fully activated phone so I popped his sim into mine and was prompted to reactivate the $20 data piece. AT&T told me they are at this point telling people to just accept and continue thru that screen that there will be no snafu or charge because it's already noted on that account that SIM holder already paid. Youtube now works great on both phones even without the SIM card/try physically inside.

I see there's a program called TinyTube.
Also, theres a few free programs that'll resize/convert Youtubes to iTunes that'll sync so you could select a few to dump on the iPod section of the phone.

Hey, thanks for the info. Now, to find someone with an activated iPhone... when I'm the only one within thirty miles who even has one... :p Oh, well.

Another question: In changing the carrier logo from AT&T to, say, the 007 logo :)D); since AT&T doesn't appear on my iPhone (don't have service) would the 007 logo appear at all, either?

Thanks, again.
