Curious, have you tried YouTube Premium?
I am seriously thinking about it. Why? Ads; I just cannot stand Ads.

I typically watch YouTube videos (not films), mainly reviews and such, from my iPhone 11 Pro Max, or my iPad Pro.

P.S. Not sure if this is the correct section to place this.

I hate adverts with a passion but at the moment it's just too expensive. Especially with Disney + coming out soon.

I got Premium too. I hate ads on ANYTHING. It’s so aggravating and disruptive. I have no ads for my Hulu account, too. One of many reasons why I don’t watch live TV anymore - I hate commercials. I like a disruptive-free watching experience. I definitely think it’s worth the money!

I have this in the UK and it is great. If you watch a lot of Youtube and subscrbe to a lot of YouTuber's then it makes sense especially since you can watch via the likes of TV Youtube apps for 4K content.

But it is expensive when you compare to the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime.

LOL my subscriptions are mounting up, too.
Sirius XM
Office 365
LastPass
LifeLock

Anyway, not sure of a service like Vanced, for iOS.
From a quick Google search, I see Cercube.

I tried it for a while. No ads was nice but to me it wasn't worth the price. I just turn down the volume when an ad plays and don't look at it - waiting for the SKIP button to appear in 10-15 seconds. Not that troublesome. YouTube ads really used to drive me crazy- but I've come to wait them out in silence. They don't bug me anymore since I make a point to not actually look at them.

I have YouTube premium. I’ve been subscribed since June 2018 when it launched in the U.K. I was actually waiting for it to launch in the U.K. because I wanted to be able to download videos for offline use. However once I actually got it I found that it’s a much better experience to watch YouTube without ads. I also like to be able to play audio with the screen off on my iPhone. You also get google play music access which I use on google home devices. Overall I think you get a lot for the price.

I really like the Musi app (in the App Store) if I know what I want to see by using the search. It runs in the background and with pay once (4.49 euro) you can can get rid off the ads in the app and you won't see ads between the videos and play in the background with the screen turned off (handy for music) and has YouTube login and dark mode all without a subscription.
Is it perfect? No
- it does lack a handy UI if you would like to go from one video to another it main focus is on music.
- it doesn't have Chromecast support
- no download option (not allowed by YouTube API unless you have a YouTube Premium subscription)

Maybe at one point in the near future I do want to switch with the family to a Family subscription to have for 15 euro YouTube without ads, YouTube music for the completely family. Currently I still have a music subscription elsewhere for a few euros per month (not Spotify, Deezer or YouTube Music).

I have to have it. I use YouTube way too much for music to be getting hit by that many ads/commercials. I also like to download for times when I might not have a data connection.

I’m a big fan, had it since it first came to the UK. I wouldn’t sub to a music service individually, couldn’t justify it when I tend to listen to my own library, but for the combo of YT with no ads + music, it’s worth it. Whenever I use or see YT on other peoples devices, I’m aghast to how awful it is with all the interruptions. Spoilt.

I completely forget about the YT Premium tv shows.

I enjoyed Cobra Kai (season 1 mainly), but otherwise is there ANYTHING on there worth watching?

I ultimately subscribed because the app kept bugging me, and I don't miss ads. I watch YouTube mainly from my Apple TV, and it can get pretty troublesome to reach for my remote to skip ads.

Yep, I’ve had Premium for quite a while now and absolutely love it, completely forgot about Ads, it’s only when I watch you at a friends place or family members place without premium that I am shocked to see Ads, lol.

I have YouTube Premium, mainly for offline video to watch in London underground.

Here in the UK, the premium is only 6.99 pound if you have a student ID it's well worth it.

I also have it, and really think it's worthwhile. But I do wish they'd enable picture in picture through the app (I know this is possible through Safari). Whilst split view is great, there are many times where'd I appreciate the option, and I'm not sure why YouTube keeps resisting adding this feature.

YouTube is much more enjoyable when you're not being bombarded with ads.
