I noticed that on Take 2, YouTUBE's Favorites menu has been dropped. Does anybody know if it has just been moved somewhere else?
It's a very useful menu because you can tag your favorite videos while surfing YouTUBE from your computer and then find them on your
TV later.
I find the YouTUBE implementation in Take 1 rather lacking and I hope that several issues have been solved.
One of the main issues that I hope has been looked at in Take 2 is resolution/scaling.
It makes no sense that
TV displays a very low res YouTUBE video in full screen on an HD TV. It renders as a bunch of pixels, sometimes almost illegible. A better implementation would be to display low res YouTUBE videos in a window (perhaps with a floor reflection).
On the other hand, YouTUBE is beginning to populate with higher res videos and YouTUBE execs have confirmed that high res videos are coming. Those videos could display in full screen.
