Is there any tweak for the youtube app to allow downloading a video to allow viewing offline? I know there are cydia apps to do this but I prefer the ability to do this within the youtube app. Thanks

Protube..but it is its own app.

No. There's also a ProTube YouTube extension if you prefer that over the standalone app.

I just checked this tweak but it says that it is not compatible with the curent version of Youtube. I also have a 5s 7.0.6. I may be restricted to using a cydia app like mxtube or protube. Thanks

I'm using pro tube ext on my iPad3 ios7.0.4, as you've realised it's only compatible up to youtube 2.2.0. which I had to downgrade back to as i had accidentally updated to 2.3.1, luckily i still had the older version in my iTunes library.

its a little unstable but its still an awesome tweak.

That's dependent on the internet you're using so short of using a proxy or paying for a VPN afaik, not much
