I have noticed that since installing Sonoma on both my 2021 M1 MacBook Air and 2021 MacBook Pro 14", YouTube videos stutter once in a while. This affects the audio as well. It just freezes for a few miliseconds completely randomly. This has never been an issue on Ventura.

For starters, what browser are you using? Are you using any extensions?

I’ve not had issues with Safari using just an adblocker extension so I would analyze your setup.

This happens on safari in ventura 13.3 and 13.4 as well, no extensions of any kind installed or active. persisted through a reinstall, and on Sonoma Beta 1 & 2, then a wipe and back to ventura 13.4.1. tested just after setup with nothign else installed.

Its definitely a safari issue on the more recent versions. I suspect its webkit related as the same happens on Orion browser as well

No issues in Firefox, Chome or any other browser.
