Hi,

I'm just writing because I'm having an issue with many YouTube videos taking a long time to start on my 2nd-gen Apple TV, whilst the same videos start instantly on my MacBook Pro... just as an example, I was trying to watch a video of the Spice Girls' performance at the Olympics closing ceremony, and it probably buffered for at least one or two minutes before starting to play on the Apple TV (on our 2 megabit/sec connection), but when I tried to play the same video by visiting the YouTube page in Safari on the MBP, it started instantly.

I thought initially that it might be that our connection is too slow to play such high-quality video in real time, but the fact that the same video played instantly on the MBP seems to belie this...

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if anyone might know any ways around it? I have tried resetting our AirPort Extreme and the Apple TV itself, but this doesn't seem to have made a difference. Also, I am currently running the 5.0.1 Apple TV software -- would updating to 5.0.2 make any difference? Many thanks for any help anyone might have!
