Hi everyone,
I'm sure some of you also have this problem where you're going to adjust the volume in a youtube video and the volume slider doesn't stay in the position you want, when you move your cursor it moves the slider at the same time.
You try to tap once or twice sometimes to stick it at the level you want the volume but sometimes it takes up to 8 tries to stick.

ONLY happens on videos in the site, embedded videos however do not have this volume slider not sticking issue!

Why oh why?
This is on my Mt.Lion machines only.

Thanks.

I know this is a really late reply, but I searched for this issue and this was the only thread I've found.

But yeah... I've had this problem since Lion. It's really frustrating because I can't just drag the volume slider where I want it, I have to drag it and then click on the bar to make it stick. This wouldn't be the end of the world, except like you said, it's only for videos at youtube.com. So the required action is different depending on where I go.

But I've figured out what the problem is. It's an issue with Flash, which is why embedded video doesn't do it (that's HTML 5). So just go to youtube.com/html5 and turn on HTML 5 for all videos. The problem goes away! Hope that helps you.

I have the same problem. The slider only clicks if I press down on the touchpad. If I just tap the touchpad (which is what I normally do) the slider doesn't stick.
