Hi all a friend of mine sent me a youtube video and I'm getting a pop up on my iphone that says 'cannot load movie' however I'm able to watch it on my computer.

Another issue is on my computer I'm able to search youtube and come up with results however when I search youtube on my iphone I'm getting a message 'no videos found'. Now if I go to the desk top version I can find results however you need to flash.

Why can't I view the video on my iphone and can on my desk top?

Why are searches coming up on my desk top and not on my iphone?

Not all Youtube videos have a phone-sized compression. Sometimes it's because it's recently posted and it hasn't created that version yet.

Sometimes they don't have it because the publisher doesn't want it to play on phones. It's an option when you upload a movie...they can disable mobile devices for the videos they upload. This is the same feature that keeps the videos from being embedded in other people's blogs, so if they disabled that there's a good chance your phone can't play it either.
