Yubikey Installer SmartCard Won't Work

I just moved to a new M1 Macbook Pro and setup my Yubikey (I thought) like my old 2017 Macbook Pro.

However when I try to install an app I get this:

sudo, su, login, etc all work with my PIN, other system level things seem to be fine with PIN, it's just the installer.

Running installer via terminal with sudo works great after putting in PIN.

Any thoughts on what I did wrong? Thank you!
