It's a pretty sweet game. What does everyone else feel about it?

seems like a very simple concept to me, but I've only played it for a little bit

I'd say it's not for everyone. It's a very polished game in terms of graphics, music etc. but some may find it boring. I bought it and enjoyed it. My wife on the other hand played it once and wouldn't touch it again. It's just not her thing. People should definitely read the description and know what it's about before getting it.

i love this game, its probably the best and most unique i've found for my iphone. i just wish there were even more levels since i've gone through the whole first tree already.

I just can't get over the dichotomy I feel between the name and the concept of this game. Zen is supposed to bring you enlightment, which is a release from the emotional entanglements that bind you to worldly attachment. The object of this game is to bind up the wooden figurines with tangling ropes. It just seems like the exact opposite of what Zen aims to achieve. Now, if we started with a hopelessly tangled figurine ensnared in garbled ropes, and you had to untangle it in order to release the figure, that'd be more in line with what Zen is about...

I really enjoy it. Worth the $5 completely. The game is very calm and soothing, and there's a new update coming later!

Actually, I find the game infuriating.

Specifically the way the rope only half paints a flat surface 50% of the time.

I really want to play this game, but it seems like such a basic concept, I don't want to spend $5 for it. I have no problem paying for apps, but I really wish more of these 3+ dollars applications would offer a free short demo.

Well it's all part of business, to get people to buy the app first even if they're unsure about it, and once it's out for a while, then release a lite version. This way they get more sales. But you could always try Zen Bondage on the computer. It's similar, not as well made, but still decent.

a rope and some wood?

well, i think finally the touch interface and accelerometre have come in handy for the iphone os as this game is unique and has a feel that is no where near a usual game. it is in no way a port.

excellent game. great review!

Love the game, it's relaxing. Great graphics and music as well. It's occassionally a very nice alternative to the higher speed games that I like.

It's kind of lame, and I usually love weird innovative games like this (ex: Flower PS3). It's still decent, and I play it occasionally, but it's nothing amazing.
