Zero background noise or echo on phonecalls since update

since the update I have noticed zero echo and any background noise when making calls. This is traveling in the same areas of town and at home. Anyone else notice this. Calls are much clearer and way louder

Im not wishful thinking the update would have corrected any problems due to my iphone working great from day one. I always thought my phone was loud enough on the highest settings and now keeping it at 75%. At first I always had some background noise and also slight echo esp when traveling on the highways. I have been traveling around the metroplex in fort worth and Dallas with ZERO background noise and ZERO echo since the update....
Either AT&T has done something different or the update...This is not my imagination since the settings were at thier max prior to update and now having to cut them back to 75% since update
