someone please help

I know we might not have an answer to this till the next update to the firmware, but is the problem we had earlier with the update bricking the iphone still there?

In other words, I currently am on an O2 iphone contract and if the next update has some feature i desperately want, can i simply restore and then upgrade to the new firmware? I don't mind if the phone gets locked again, but I'm just scared it'll get bricked. I need to unlock it as I travel quite often and I use local sims depending on the country I am in.

Does anyone know if a restore will get the phone back to the original unjailbroken/locked state after doing a jailbreak/unlock with ziphone?

I have a 1.1.2 OOTB, which I upgraded to 1.1.3 using itunes. It is currently unjailbroken/locked to O2 iphone contract.

You should be able to just restore the iPhone from a jailbroken state if you need to by doing it the normal way in iTunes.

if i already jail broke my OTB 1.1.2 ( that was already upgraded to 1.1.3)

will it unlock the phone????
