ZiPhone 2.2 or iJailBreak?

Hi, I have heard that ZiPhone 2.4 supposedly downgrades something (I'm not sure what but I know that it's not good). I have ZiPhone 2.4, ZiPhone 2.2 and iJailBreak. I want to stay clear of version 2.4. So, what should I use? ZiPhone 2.2 or iJailBreak? Are they both pretty stable? Ideally if I was going to use ZiPhone I would have liked version 2.3 but I can't find that anywhere (if anyone knows where I can find it please let me know). What are your experiences with ZiPhone 2.2/2.3 or iJailBreak 0.5.3? What would you suggest? Thanks!

Jailbreak .53 worked just fine on my 1.1.2OTB - you can see my comments in this htread: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/433081/

I chose this method a) because it DOESN'T downgrade the bootloader, b) because I didn't want to spoil my day by having to use Windows

So far everything works fine - sure there's a problem with some Summerboard themes but I think that's because they're installing into the pre-1.1.3 directory structure rather than an issue with the unlock mechanism
