ZiPhone FTW!!!

After spending nights this past weekend trying to unlock and jailbreak my 1.1.2 OTB iPhone to 1.1.3, I've finally found THE BEST solution for Windows. Go download ZiPhone. Here's the link: http://zibree.blogspot.com/

I started the jailbreak process before taking a shower, I come out and the phone is jailbroken to 1.1.3! I'm gonna unlock it later after I get out of work. This was too easy.

i downloaded it placed it in the desktop run cdm or wot eva it is n thats all i know what to do
can some one please tell me how to do it because im gettin stressed
folder is on desktop

Go to "run" under the Start menu

Type cd desktop
then cd ziphone
then cd c:ziphone
then ziphone -j to jailbreak
or ziphone -u to unlock

I'm not sure what ziphone -r does. Anyway, I just tested everything after the jailbreak and it works great. The only thing I had to redo on it was my voicemail password. Good luck!!! Thanks to the guys who released ZiPhone!!!!

Looks like I'll unlock this later, give it to my wife and get a 16gb iPhone for myself.

when i do c:ziphone it doesnt find it in cmd n it doesnt even find the first one in run im on windows vista atm

Place your ZiPhone folder on your Desktop.

after that type in the comand line the following

cd Desktop
cd ZiPhone

then you just need to type

ziphone -u -a -j

NOTE: -u will unlock your phone, -a will activate it, .j will jailbreak it. You may remove the ones you do not want. i e:

ziphone -j

if you only want to jailbreak

I got a iphone that is 1.0.2 and i want to upgrade to 1.1.3 and do the unlock. It mention about some baseband things 4.6. I am just wondering if i can unlock my phone by upgrading to 1.1.3 on itunes then unlock it with this program

I'm new to this, but i need to fix my command prompt on my windows. Do i need to use cmd? I miss my old jailbroken phone. I dont understand what 'cd desktop' and the other things like that mean. Can someone please make it clear to an 'average' computer user. Thanks

NVM. I just used command.com instead of cmd. This works perfectly. I had 1.1.2 otb and it was upgraded to 1.1.3. Everything seems to work and even the restore worked. This is the best thing ever since the iphone itself!!!!!!

It'll need iTunes on the end to activate the phone.

Glad to see others having more success with this. I'm definitely making a donation to these guys.
