I was Bootloader 3.9 and did a Restore "select new iphone not backup previous" and then used AriX 0.5.1 Jailbreak and it works brilliantly.

As that above 'bricked' post goes I was in the same place a few months back and saved my phone using instructions on hackthatphone.com

this worked much better for me as well, ZiPhone gave me some trouble, iJailbreak was super fast, easy and actually worked

if you want to unlock just run anySIM 1.3 after you run iJailbreak.;)

With all the mess of people getting issues I just upgraded to 1.1.3 and didnt jailbrake it again. Locate me, web clips, home button assignment is better than any non apple app. Hopefully the sdk will create a usefull one.

I would like to have different wallpapers on each of my new home screens though...anyway to do that with ibrickr without jailbrakings and risking messing the phone up?

Wait, are you jailbreaking or unlocking? Jailbreaking is literally harmless, unlocking is risky...
