As many here already know, Adam Donenfeld of Ziperium have uncovered and published a new powerful ios exploit which might very well lead to a 10.3.1 jailbreak. I read one expert said this is 66% of a jailbreak just by itself. One thing I wouldn't understand is why Pangu or Yalu (or any other group) wouldn't possibly pounce on this and use it with whatever exploits they have in the bag. I'd be interested in comments ? and educated guesses as to how long it would take a dedicated group to come up with the jaibreak given this new exploit?

progress is already being made Antique Dev.
It's definitely intriguing, but I just read that he is only working on the 10.2.1 jailbreak. It's progress, but I'm stuck on 10.3.1 not having saved my blobs. Wonder if Todesco's kpp bypass would also be usable with ziVA to jailbreak 10.3.1??? Hey, anyway, we know there are additional exploits out there.

yes only for 10.2.1. It can be used but some developer will need to work on it.

Now, I just read a piece on idownloadblog from Aug. 25th that Adam Donenfeld does not think the KPP is a problem that needs to be overcome. They stated that if this is true, the exploits openly available would actually constitute 100% of the exploits for a 10.3.1 jailbreak. It would be left for some motivated jailbreakers to assemble it together with Cydia. A lot of work in itself, but very do-able.

Apperantly it's fake.

XIGTEAM IS FAKE!
XigTeam promised to release a jailbreak on September 13 and abruptly changed the date to September 11. Hours ago, they tweeted that a jailbreak was about to drop within minutes.

However, the “jailbreak” download link pointed to a picture of the troll face. Here’s what they tweeted.

The iPhone 7/7+ exclusive untethered jailbreak for iOS 10.2-10.3.3 has been released by XigTeam. Enjoy! https://t.co/N7e0wvcWqy

— Tim Cook (@tim_c0ok) September 11, 2017

Furthermore, their Twitter account now has a different username altogether and any traces of “XigTeam” are gone now.

This was quite a complex troll because they had everything looking exactly like a legitimate jailbreak. They showed off their package manager, pirate app store, and Cydia running on iOS 10.3.2.
