It's finally here ... We were one of the first to beta test it, we showed you actual game-play footage of it at Beta 3 (Hitting the frontpage of Kotaku and TouchArcade),
and now, after weeks of waiting, its finally here. Zombie Mansion is now available on the App Store.

Gameplay
The aim of the game is for you (the character) to escape Zombie Mansion, alive. Gameplay is quite addictive, but more importantly fun. The game is set in a maze-based environment, and with the directional controls, even aiming your energy surges right becomes that of a challenge in itself. You'll also find a mirage of twists and turns, locked doors, wells, prison bars, gates and other obstacles which will stop you from escaping. Gameplay is extended by the use of locked doors. Hidden in the levels are keys, and you must find them, unlock the door, and continue to escape. What’s even more enthralling about this is, the game gives you no sense of direction. None. There is no map. Which is a good thing. Are you going the right way? Have you been here before? Maybe your going round in circles? - Maybe not, but you wouldn't know, which is what adds to the fun.

[App Store] ($4.99/£2.99)

Looks pretty nice. Too bad I don't have $5 on my iTMS account :(. How are the controls? (but from you I'm just expecting "AMAZING!") :p So any pictures of a weapon that isn't that cane? Or do they all just use the cane?

Just downloaded it and played for about 20 mins. I must say.. it's pretty boring at this point. There's no story or anything. You just roam around in a mansion that just happens have Hell for a basement.. yes Hell.. and shoot stuff with your magical cane while you find keys to progress. I believe the "cane" is the only weapon. You can upgrade it by finding powerups though, but it's still not that big of a difference. Maybe I'm missing something? The graphics look smooth though and the framerate holds up fairly well. Thats about all it has going for it IMO.

Meh, just tried it and i must say, extremely disappointing. No story, not enough world detail, and a cane for a weapon. Need I say more? I'd pass on this one, save your money for something else like Brothers in Arms, Hero of Sparta or Ferrari GT: Evolution.

If you're jailbroken, the Quake III port is much, much better and looks exactly like the PC version...once the control scheme is perfected (it is continually being reworked through .cfg's at the moment), it could possibly be the FPS to beat.
