My wife uses Zoom a lot for her business. Some of the conference calls are recorded. When she is watching a recorded conference call in Safari or Chrome, or when she is doing a live conference with the Zoom app, frequently her audio will stop after 2-3 seconds. Refreshing the page will start it again for a few seconds. Pausing the video and then resuming after a few seconds will again give her a few more seconds of audio.

She is using a MacBook Pro M1 Max 16" with 64GB of memory connected to an Apple Studio Display. Switching the audio in system preferences to the MBP will cause the audio muting to stop. A similar issue was occurring with her Intel-based MacBook Pro.

Does anyone know of a solution for this that will keep audio going through the ASD instead of MBP's built-in speakers?
