Excessive fan speed with new RAM?
Just installed an extra 16GB of RAM (with existing 6GB) in my Pro 3,1 (Early 2008) and fan now sounds like it is trying to take off! Very noisy when doing some things (Photos, PS) and slightly noisier than before when not doing anything. All RAM is Type: DDR2 FB-DIMM Speed: 800 MHz. Top...
