Have you already seen Google’s new cringeworthy Android ads?

Was stalking Reddit today and noticed that Google has been busy pushing the new Android ad campaign. Do they really think image search on AI steroids is the “next big thing”? I mean, they even made a whole landing page (android.ai) with “switch from ios” link just to lure iOS users. Do they...

Will there be any Apple ads during the Superbowl?

Unless you have been living under a rock, you probably already know that Apple is sponsoring halftime. (Only reason why I am watching) However, I am wondering if Apple is going to play any ads (for the iPhone/Mac/iPad) during the Superbowl. Is there a way to check/do you know if they are...

I used AI to upscale old Apple commercials to 4K

Hi all, There is no shortage of old Apple commercials posted online, but most of the uploads are around 240p or 360p. I wanted to see what would happen if I used a few AI models to bring them up to 4K and 60 frames per second. Since 360p doesn't have the necessary resolution to scale to 4K, I...

Is it me or are you much more likely to run into malicious websites on iPhones (or smartphones in general) than on PC?

I feel like I run into fake scam websites (that are also probably malicious) much more often when I'm browsing the internet on my iPhone than I ever did on Mac. Not too long ago I was looking up something and I clicked on a website with the Mac Rumors favicon, and I realized a second too late...

All iPads iPad Parental Controls on in App Ads

Does anyone know a way to filter the ads on an iPad? Tried searching on google and apple forums, but seems like no-one has resolved this issue. A specific example I have is with a Disney colour by numbers game, my son (who's 4YO) likes to play this but seems like every ad that comes up is...

Blocking ads on YouTube and systemwide

Is there an app that will block ads, preferably system wide at the DNS level on the iPhone/iPad? I find it extremely annoying to see them when browsing websites through Safari and using the YouTube app to watch videos. It ruins the experience for me when seeing ads and commercials all over the...

Question: Of all the ad-block filters which should I select?

hi, I know there are certain blockers which offer a convenient set it and forget it option, whereas other are more granular. I have tried Crystal, Firefox Focus, and Adguard on iOS, and the usual suspects for OSX. When I look at Adguard or uBlock, I am presented with a list of filters to...

    Touch Bar bugs

I have found out 4 Bugs so far and have only been using it 2 days. 1) Safari tabs. Sometimes 2 of the tabs are circled while only one is open. And the circle goes under the tab sometimes. 2)Youtube skip ads. With your media scroller you can skip through the youtube ads. I like it but it is a bug...

How to get rid of of Ad Results from Bing Searches.

In the last couple of days, I've noticed that when I perform a search with Bing (in Safari), I get a dozen Ad results before the actual results. I'm not talking about the pictured results on the right side, but Ads coming up in the list of actual results. I've never experienced this before...

Annoying Verizon ad covers the whole screen

I navigated to Macrumors.com in my Chrome browser (with no ad blockoing) at 10:35AM EDT and was greeted with an animation that opened up a giant square that blocked the whole view of the front page. Please look into this, it's annoying and I am almost ready to start blocking ads wholeheartedly.

I have a MacBook Pro 13" for school, I use safari as my default browser and all of a sudden there has been so many ads, every time I click a link it opens irrelevant websites in new tabs/Windows. Is there anything that will cancel all ads forever or is there something I can do? Thanks in advance
