Hi,
Do I need 14.6 iOs to listen to lossless audio?
If so I will run the drain battery syndrome to listen to lossless audio..
Hope someone will answer that discussion...

Hi all below is an Amazon link for a USB-C DAC that I use myself on my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 this works perfectly with Apple Music Hi-Res Lossless and for £16 for 2 you cant really go wrong.
It claims in iOS that it can do 384Khz 32Bit Audio and Apple Music works perfectly with it so it must be...
I’m coming to this as a bit of a surround sound geek so please bear with me.
Dolby Atmos music on Apple Music is really disappointing so far. I am using 3rd party headphones so those with supported AirPods may get a better experience.
A lot of songs sound like they are being presented very...
Dear Members,
I am interested in the setting up a lossless music envoirnment in my study and wanted to try it out using some device to connect it to my Bose Soundtouch 30 Speakers and then enhancing it to a proper setup meaning more profession equipment to enjoy lossless music i.e. FLAC / ALAC...
So I might be losing my mind a bit here but I've been noticing that on WatchOS 7.5 Spotify is having this weird issue where I'll start playing music on the phone (iOS 14.6) and the Spotify app will pop up but the app will not keep up with what's playing on my phone. Noticed that even if I just...
We have all read the news regarding Apple Music and the incompatibility between the Max’s and lossless audio.

There are probably some among us who have recently purchased Max’s (I got a rather good deal at...
I think that not enough people understand what lossless audio is.
It's not some sort of magic technology that unlocks a hidden layer in your music. It just keeps tiny, inaudible details from the original recording in—mostly noise. At the cost of several times higher bandwidth.
See for yourself...
I've had a HomePod for a few years now. All of a sudden it has stopped letting me access Apple Music. My subscription is fine, working on my Mac and iPhone.
When I ask it to play something its says "I didn't find XXXXXX on Apple Music" but if I ask it to simply "Play some Music", it works...
Since today's morning, I cannot play any song from the Apple Music app on my MacBook Pro M1. Neither from my library nor from anywhere. It just keeps jumping from song to song without playing anyone. My Apple Music subscription is working fine, as I can play music from the web or on my iPhone...
I have songs on my iPhone XR that I put there via iTunes (drag and drop when phone is connected to Mac desktop via USB).
I want to remove some of the songs.
I tried to remove the songs while the phone was connected to iTunes by selecting them all and hitting "delete" on the keyboard but nothing...
Hi everyone,
So I bought a pair of APM, coming from the Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless. First thing I noticed was that the Airpods Max are definitely a bit "quieter" when it comes to volume. The M3s are very loud headphones. That's not a big issue when listening to Apple Music as music is more...
has anyone else had this problem? when I try to play a playlist that is one I created using songs that aren't a part of Apple Music it won't play (For example, when I tell Siri to play 'My Top Rated' playlist it plays "K-Pop" or if I try to play other ones it says ""I didn't find this playlist...
For the longest time now the Apple Music macOS app no longer shows a notification when the song changes. I've attached screenshots of my settings to show that everything is enabled. Any help on this would be much appreciated.
This is on macOS Big Sur for reference.
A constant headache I've had since getting Apple Music is that my music keeps moving around.
I have over 2,000 songs added to my Music library with a selection that are downloaded to my iPhone for when I don't have a internet connection.
When I browse through my collection I notice the following...
Long ago I digitized all my CDs and put them into iTunes. I’ve migrated through several iMacs since then, and subscribe to both Apple Music and iTunes Match (or whatever it’s called these days).
The problem: I find several different folders in my local (iMac internal SSD) Music folder...
Hi to everyone,
today I noticed that some of my favourite song where grey and if I try to play them a prompt tells me that "This song can’t be played because it contains explicit content.". Searching for a solution took me here:
But I can't modify the specific restriction. The songs have been...
With Spotify announcing hifi, are we likely to see Apple announce a new hi def music streaming service? Never mind all the podcast content coming to Spotify
I like to listen to audio in the background while I use other apps (especially casual games). In some cases, though, even with the audio settings inside the active app being set to "off" or equivalent, the background audio from Apple Music will always be paused (even if I resume it from the...
