Hello.
I have noticed that on macOS, even when an album is clearly marked as lossless, whenever I start playing a track, the lossless version doesn't start until I quit and reopen Apple Music.
Here's an example:
I open apple music and you can clearly see this album is available in lossless...
My friend just sent me this website: https://m1racles.com/ (not sure if I can post this link here just like that) with quite a lot of information about a bug in M1 chip and I'm quite amazed that I didn't saw this topic here on macrumors, is this something that just came out? what do you think?
When I open any of “My Guides” in Maps, “Sort by Distance” is already selected, but I have to tap it, then tap “Distance” to get it to sort properly every time. It doesn’t sort automatically by default, even with that sorting option selected. Is that expected behavior, or does it seem like a bug?
I'm running into an issue where if an app crashes, and I click 'Reopen', then macOS launches Terminal, and within Terminal, reopens the app. If I quit Terminal, that will kill the app as well.
In the 15 years I've used macOS, I have never witnessed this behavior when clicking 'Reopen'. It's...
Settings > iCloud > Manage Storage > Backups
My new 5th generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro backup icon is the generic placeholder (or default, blank) with the black circles and lines. I tried deleting the backup and backing up again, but the issue persists.
Hello,
Has anyone run into this issue? Example:
2 Safari windows open. I CMD+Tab to another app then back to Safari -> Safari window that was behind active Safari window jumps to foreground. This kills a workflow making me have to constantly then CMD+`. It occurs with all apps, recently only...
Try it for yourself and let me know how it goes. I'm on an M1 Mac mini but maybe it doesn't affect Intel Big Sur 11.3 users?
* Connect AirPods Pro or any other bluetooth device with a mic
* Open Safari or Safari Technology Preview
* Play any YouTube video you want
* Open Sound Preferences

Hey all,
I have an issue with MBA M1 where it does not instantly wake up anymore. I have to press esc key to get to login screen. I also noticed that if I close the lid while playing the video, the computer does not go to sleep and the audio keeps playing. I did not change any setting, running...
I just upgraded to a brand new iPhone 12 mini (iOS 14.4.2).
All audio features are perfectly fine but I noticed that when I say "hey Siri, turn OFF smart invert", before Siri answers I hear a clicking sound similar to an electric static shock. It’s like a popping sound you might hear from a...
Does anyone know if the bug has been fixed where syncing/backing up to or recovering from an M1 Mac in any of the macOS versions (beta or stable) from an iPhone or iPad, results in 3rd party apps can not open at all?
I had this issue a couple of months ago and I had to do a full restore from an...
I posted this in the wrong forum section.
My iPhones camera app portrait mode is not optically stabilised (the viewfinder is much shakier than the regular Photo and Video modes - resulting in blurry photos). The optical image stabilisation does work in Photo and Video modes so this isn’t a...
So this is really weird.
My iPhone 12 Pro Max sometimes call two numbers at the same time. Yes, at the same time.
Just today, I called a friend. He answered and we started talking, and 30 seconds into the call I heard a voice mail kick in while my friend was still talking. My phone had called...
This one has been driving me nuts and I can't seem to figure out what to Google for. I'm on the latest macOS and maybe a week or two ago, out of the blue, whenever a file dialog (not Finder, that works just fine. I'm talking about an app's typical "open file" dialog) opens I can't click on...
Hey!
Has anyone experience this? I don't now if this is the expected behavior, but I don't think it should be like that. And I came by chance to it.
When I try to insert the chess paw emoji ♟️ I get the chess paw symbol ♟ instead. It's mainly because the emoji has as font variation the...
I bumped an old thread related to this issue earlier today, but figured it prudent to make another to bring more attention to this problem while everyone is still within their holiday return periods.
As you may or may not be aware, there's currently an issue that appears to affect all M1 Macs...
Hey all! Loving my M1 mini so far, it's been a rock solid machine. Just having one interesting "issue" if you could even call it that, night after night. I have my mini in a desk setup in my bedroom plugged into a backlit mechanical keyboard and mouse.
Sometimes when I go up to the Apple menu...
If the clock changes the time of day, manually or daylight savings time, it will affect your stopwatch / timer.
So if your clock is set to 1:00pm and you start a stopwatch, then after 1 minute you change the time to 1:30pm, your stopwatch will say 30 min, instead it should be 1 minute.
Same...
When using the open/save function (opening a window) I resize it to reflect my needs.
A sidebar with sufficient width to read my folder names and a larger window at all to be able to navigate through folders.
In previous versions of all OSX-versions if I recall it correctly, including Big Sur...
