16" M1 Pro vs M1 Max Geekbench scores (violin plot)
Hey, I parsed Geekbench scores and did a quick violin plot. I was wondering if I made a mistake going with M1 Pro instead of M1 Max. Seems like M1 Max is around 4-5% faster in multi-core and 1-2% faster in single-core workloads. Not a huge deal IMHO :)- mmjrk

Why am I getting different i7 Geekbench scores than others (and why does it crash all the time)?
I may buy a secondhand 2020 3.8 GHz (i7-10700K) iMac which I'm checking out now. I found that the production date was in June last year (circa months before it was released). The multi core results I get are worse than the average (up to around 7500), but the single core results are better... -

MP 1,1-5,1 Ridiculous low values in Geekbench 5

Geekbench 5 question

Should I upgrade to 2019 from Mid 2013 or wait for 10nm+LPDDR4?
I actually bought a new 16" and returned it as I don't need that kind of machine (no need for eGpu) and it got too hot just plugged into an external monitor. iOS 12.1.4 slowing down iphone 8plus
hi! I updated my iPhone 8 plus 256gb to ios 12.1.3 and then to 12.1.4 and noticed that when i do a geekbench 4 it goes really down on the scores, i have a doubt if it is the update or the iphone, what do you think? -
