Is it safe to disable the HDD fan completely on iMac 2007 after putting an SSD?
There are 3 fans on my iMac (20 inch mid 2007), one for cpu and gpu, one for hdd and one for the disc drive. The hdd fan is a little bit noisy and I was wondering if it's safe to just unplug the cable or something else to completely disable the fan? Or does it cool other parts of the system too... -

Costco is having the base iMac 27in on sale for Black Friday and I’m wondering if I bought one could I go right to an Apple store and have them upgrade the CPU? I will upgrade the ssd and ram on my own but I don’t want to lose the warranty by switching out the CPU myself. -

iPhone iPhone 11 photo label (not extension) when transferred to iMac
