iPhone 14 Pro Dynamic Island very distracting?
Does anyone else feel the Dynamic Island is unusually distracting? At least with the notch, the notch was a stagnant thing, and it melted with the display. Here, since the island changes in size and has functionality, you purposely pay more attention to it. What do you think? -

Other Store pickup switched to delivery by Apple
I ordered 1TB 14P for pickup at my local Apple Store, picked a window for picking it up and placed order. Same thing when I ordered my husband’s phone. Both of our confirmation emails gave shipping estimate of Sept 16, without any mention of our store pick up. Hope it will correct itself...- stringbeanie

Other My problem with the notch was the lack of status icons. Does the Dynamic Island make the problem even worse?
I like being able to see the status icons in the status bar, such as Do Not Disturb / Focus Mode, Rotation Lock, Battery Percentage, battery level of paired bluetooth device, etc. The notch took up so much space that you couldn't see those at a glance--you had to swipe down to the Control Center... -

As for 13 Pro, you have to go for 256GB or higher. How much longer before 256GB (at least Pro models, Samsung top tier models) becomes a standard? (!RemindMe 5 years "Is the 256GB future now?") -

Just read that Apple kept the limit on ProRes (1080/30 only) for the 128GB model of the 14 Pro. I just pre-pre-orderd a 128GB model because that's about all the storage I ever use on my 11 Pro. Other Why is the Ultra-Wide camera worse this year?
just comparing specs between the 13 Pro Max and the 14 Pro Max, the ultra wide got worse this year. Last year it was a f1.8 ultra wide and this year it’s a f2.2 ultra wide. Does anyone know if iPhone 14 Pro phones too have ProRes limited to 1080p for 128GB models? Didn’t see that mentioned anywhere, including footnotes. Hopefully that limitation is not there this year.. 🤞
