Hey,
Just got the new Macbook Pro 15", July 2018.
I still got the Apple Mouse and Apple Wireless Keyboard from my late 2013 iMac, and I noticed the connection is kinda twitchy.
Battery for both is almost 100%, yet they behave like they're almost out of battery – randomly disconnecting and...
I did a quick search on the forums, so apologies if this has already been discussed and I missed it.
Has anyone heard of an aftermarket keyboard for the latest gen of Macbook Pros?
I wandered through the Apple store today and tried the 15in 2018 MBP and gotta say, *sigh*. Ignoring the...
So I have had a beautiful journey so far with my latest MacBook Pro. Not sure how long ago, I bought myself a 2016 MacBook Pro (15") after my late 2011 MacBook Pro (15") finally broke down after six years or so.
[ HISTORY ]
Unfortunately, I think I got several issues including the high-pitched...
I picked up the 13 inch today. I spent all day typing on a 2017 15 inch. This keyboard feels better---a bit softer. Whereas the 2017 sort of feels like typing on concrete, the 13 inch 2018 has a bit more of a spring.
It's still loud---I don't know what Apple considers softer or a different...
I've always had the Send / Send Mail menu item for sending my email with Cmd + Enter, which has never been a problem to add or re-add with earlier MacOS versions. However, upon upgrading to the first beta Mojave it disappeared, and seemed unwilling to allow it to be put back. Everything seems...
Hi All,
So my recent dealings with Apple regarding my MBP 2017 13" keyboard and LCD issue have been relatively painless thus far but it has got me somewhat confused.
Who makes the decision on whether your repair falls under warranty or if its deemed accidental damage? Particularly when...
Is Apple replacing the defective MBP keyboards (recently announced) with the same defective keyboards or have they updated the defective keyboards. Does anyone know? I'm wondering what the point of replacing a defective keyboard with another defective keyboard. Isn't it just a matter of time and...
Can anyone recommend a folding Bluetooth keyboard suitable for iOS?
I have been searching on a certain well known shopping site and all of the keyboards that I have found seem to have one or more of the following problems:
physical keys omitted to reduce keyboard size, requiring the use of...
I'm on mm2012 and old -keyboard with eject button.
Mini will sleep with com+opt+eject, but if I try to redefine that in sysPrefs->KB->shortcuts->Services->Text(wtf?)->"Put Computer To Sleep" to eg.F13, I just hear the alert sound.
Can sleep butten be redefined at all?

A dumb mistake to put water by my keyboard, and my cat got to it.
None of the keys were working for hours after the spill. I was in bed and my computer turned on, so I checked the keyboard and now some of the keys work.
The confusing thing is-
Keys above the space bar don't work
"P" key lowers...
I've owned every single Apple laptop made. I'm a collector. I've used them and taken almost all of them apart. I have iBook Clamshells, a Powerbook 2400c, PowerBook Pismos and Wallstreets, MacBook Airs, and many more.
So, I had a Retina MBP 2014 15". Great laptop. I used it a lot. Had the dual...
hello,
I i couldn't able to identify my keyboard layout, the closest one is French layout, the only différence is the keys @# and <> are switched, plus my keyboard is ANSI and the French ones are usually ISO.
the image of the keyboard is the attachement.
I am not sure if it's just me but I feel that QuickType and Autocorrect have been awful for the past few versions of iOS, maybe since they started implementing heavy Machine Learning algorithms to predict what the user is trying to type. As a person that switches between languages many times a...
I'm in the market for a Macbook in the next few weeks, if they don't get updated at all next month....
And the 12" 2016 and 2017 models had exactly the same spec CPU, Memory etc would you plump for Butterfly keyboard generation one of 2016 or generation two from 2017 model?
Apologies for yet...
A friend working at Apple customer care is offering to replace my 2017 base model mbp with a new one free of charge, under the battery replacement program (w/ the excuse that they are out of batteries, while mine doesn't have any battery issues). Although I do not have any problems at the moment...
I migrated my 100's of Web logins from 1Password into Keychain yesterday ( quite a long process! ) using my Mac, and then tested it on my iPhone.
Then I tested it on my iPad by spot-checking logins that I had added.
Problem 1) none of them were there.
Fix: I fixed that by logging in/out of...
Hey everyone,
I'm having problems with my 2015 MacBook Pro 13" - basically I went to turn it on last week and the keyboard backlight flickered, the startup chime sounded but then nothing (no on screen activity, then finally the flickering keyboard would get weaker and it would seem like it was...
In the market for a MBP, just had a few questions:
Is the new-style keyboard really that bad? If not, I guess I'll wait and see if anything is announced at WWDC.
If it really is terrible, which model is the most recent without the butterfly keyboard? Am I right in thinking the 2015 models are...
