I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue and/or if this is normal. In addition to having the keyboard backlight issue that appears to be common, where some keys have some light leakage from the bottom in an uneven way, I'm also having an issue where some keys click or sound...
I love my new MBP, but the keys feel like they rattle once fully depressed. Instead of getting a thump when I press a key like I did on my last two Macbook's I get a slight rattle. The space bar, enter and backspace keys are the worst for this, however most other keys feels great.
Anybody else...
On PowerBook G4 Onyx keyboards (2001-2003) there is the enter key at the place where on the newer keyboards the right option key is found.
Its symbol is ⌅
When pressed on it it performs the same functions as the return key.
I'd lke to use this key as the right option key i.e. as the modifier...
Has someone noticed some strange noises when gently touching, without actually pressing, certain keyboard keys on the new MBP 14" keyboard? On mine I have this strange noise on 50% of the keyboard's keys. On some of them it is more evident. It's not that easy to explain, it is as if the key has...
Hello from Turkey.
Recently I've bought a PB G4 Onyx (Gigabit Ethernet, October 2001) for $27 in Istanbul. The seller said that it was left in a basement for 10+ years. Every part of it (logicboard, optical drive, trackpad) expcept keyboard works perfectly. Out of the total 79 keys, none except...
Just purchased a Unicomp Model M replica and absolutely love typing on it. I’ve always used the cheapest keyboard I could find in the past and I’m glad I went for it. Was curious if they are popular in the Mac community most users seem to be on Linux I've met.
(Like the one above, but for the 2021 MacBook Pros! Missing!)
UpperCase 16” (2019-2020)
Moshi 16” (2019-2020)
Moshi, UpperCase, or other companies seem to not have any updates on this front!
If you see anything become available, please post them here!
I always cover my keyboard with the...
Arrived today, ipad mini 6 to give an idea on size. i can‘t type well on smaller keyboards so having something with the full size experience but effectively knocking off the keypad works for me.
I suspect Logitech options needs updating as it wasn’t showing up there when connected via Bluetooth...
I use two languages when using my phone: Hungarian and English. In iOS, you have to add both keyboards separately and switch between them when switching languages. Of course I always forget to do this and type half my sentence on the wrong keyboard and it's incredibly annoying as the autocorrect...
Has anyone had this? Same thing happened with my iPhone XS although much worse. Was also noticeable on iOS 14.
I now have an iPhone 13 with a clean install and still see this but not as much. Mostly in Safari with a few tabs open or Amazon app.
Thinking this a memory management issue? I have...
i love having the ability to change my keyboard with the little globe in the corner because some of the keyboards i have are very useful. however lately it seems like the little globe button has become more sensitive then it was before. i seem to hit it at least once every time im typing...
Hi!
I want to present my first App - myMojis. It is available in english and german.
myMojis is an additional emoji keyboard where you can create your own categories/ groups, in which you can place any emoji you want. They can be arranged in any order and also be separated by a line break. So...
I am curious to see what other people's experiences have been like with their M1 MacBook Airs. Does your keyboard have keys that are all uniform in feel/stability (other than the spacebar) or do you have some keys that are looser than the others? I'm not sure if the selections that I provided...
Hi everyone,
Question asked many times on this forum but here I am, telling my story to you and asking for advice. I've owned a 2018 13" MBP for close to 3 years now and this machine has served me well as my main computer: MS Office suite, general browsing, coding (Pycharm, CLion), photo...
I have a 2017 vintage iMac . It would be wonderful if Apple would produce a lighted wireless keyboard. I did have a Logitech MX and the thing about that was that the bluetooth would log off so to speak and then I would get a message that there was no keyboard, so I would have to go about...
To all owners of the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro, how are your keyboards holding up? Are they prone to failure? Do they get dirty? Do you use them every day or here and there? Etc. Thanks in advance for the feedback!
I and others I work with have noticed more typos lately using the iPhone keyboard; neighboring letters will be triggered accidentally, in a way that didn’t seem to happen with iOS before. A colleague wondered if maybe Apple is implementing a new machine learning process or something. Has anyone...
I've had my brand new M1 iMac all day today and using it tonight. My only major complaint is it really needs a backlit keyboard. Looks like I have to find a replacement down the road. It will have to have touch ID, which is great.
